The inspiration for this EP is drawn from early 90’s Jungle Techno and Hardcore but brought up to date with modern Drum and Bass production techniques and synthesis. The lead track, “Love Song” is a gentle nod towards “The Lighter” by DJ SS, which sampled the theme from the 1970’s film “Love Story”. The Second track makes use of a repetitive bass riff and chopped Amen’s layered up with other breaks. Finally, “Questions” was inspired by the many productions from the Derby based Drum and Bass producer, DJ Theory.
